Dr. Beth Stowell is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She attended veterinary school with the help of an educational scholarship. Dr. Stowell has had a publication in the Journal of Veterinary and Comparative Oncology, which looked at novel chemotherapy treatments for canine oral cancer. She is also silver certified in business management, and won an outstanding oncology student award. Her clinical interests include pain management, cancer care, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.
When she is not saving lives, Dr. Stowell can be seen geeking out to the greatest in science fiction like Marvel movies, Star Wars, Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Game of Thrones. Every October she travels with her husband to visit Haunted Houses. She lives in Albuquerque with her husband Andres, dogs; Annie the Annihilator, Ulysses S. Puppo, Gabbana, Olive, and cats; Aluminum, Chromium and Vanadium. They’ve got a full house!
Andres Stowell is a Mathematician, Programmer, Motorcyclist and Animal Lover. As a long time proponent of small businesses and the communities created around them. Andres believes in serving the animals of Albuquerque, and that all pets are good pets. Listen to what they are trying to say, and they can lead you right to their problems with genuine trust. We will be working to earn that trust.
When not managing the clinic, Andres is a gamer and loves to read. His most engrossing passion, however, is his wife. Wine and Paint nights, Flix nights out, Haunted Houses around the nation, or just hanging around at home with dog and cat friends.

Tiana Smalls is a friend who has helped us on and off through the years, we are honored to have her on our team, with her strong education and warm heart.
Tiana relates, “I am a recent graduate from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science, with a strong passion for animals. With my previous living environment in Fort Lauderdale Florida, I was surrounded by various types of wildlife, which only strengthened my passion to want to work in the field of vet medicine. I am currently raising a Guide Dog for the Blind puppy in training named Saint. He’s a goofy but highly motivated dog and I hope to see him graduate to be a full-fledged guide dog in the coming year. I’m dedicated in providing a safe and healthy environment for all animals under my care and am looking forward to continuing a career at Kokopelli Animal Clinic.”
Tiana was recently accepted at Midwestern University and is pursuing becoming a veterinarian. We will miss her immensely until she returns.
